Mother & Child

This was a labour of love to make. what you may or might not be able to see is that the lines and feel of this are amazing. from the arms linking in a continuous line to the swell of the mothers back. It is easy to over work a piece and I have decided that enough is enough with this.

By far not a decision I took lightly but I was afraid that trying to get the exact perfect no wrinkles or indentations was out of reach. This is not a light piece of artwork I must say, and is something that will sit proud on your mantis or book shelf or display cabinet. It weights in at 7.2 ounces troy !!! Nearly 224 Grams!!!!

It has been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay office and the markings are clearly displayed on the base. The hallmark also includes a limited and special edition mark for King Charles’s Coronation. I opted to get this mark as it is historic and who knows how many will exist or for how long.
